Bennett and Borna had recently collaborated on a large-scale piece of graffiti. It was so prevalent that the MTA re-hired the woman who did the female voice for the New York City subway announcements (“The next stop is Graham Ave.”) to record a customized denunciation of this monumental tagging, to be played in subway cars. She sounded unusually emotional.
At some point later on, I was trapped in the basement of Borna’s house with Bennett and Borna, because the cops had deciphered the culprits of the tag. For some reason I was only concerned with how annoying it was to be stuck in Borna’s basement; I guess the police presence didn’t register as concerning.
yo whatever, my basement is cool.
I would be impressed if the lumbering bureaucracy of the MTA made a system-wide change before the cops figured out who the culprits were.
yo i’ll never get caught.
